We've lived in Tuchoměřice for over 15 years — long before KindStay was ever an idea. In every city we've called home, we've somehow always ended up near the airport. Never planned, always appreciated.

Despite being minutes from Prague Airport, Tuchoměřice is a quiet, unhurried neighbourhood where families choose to live precisely because it isn't the city — surrounded by nature, yet with everything you need nearby.

We are a family of artists. A jewellery designer and architect, and a painter with exhibitions across three continents. That shapes how we think about spaces — not just functional, but considered. We keep working on the apartments, refining small things, because we believe a well-thought-out space makes everything easier.

We still live here, on the first floor of the same house. A few years ago we renovated the floors below and above into independent apartments — each with its own entrance, kitchen, and bathroom. We installed Starlink, planted a garden, and wanted our guests to have what we've always had: a proper base, close to the runway, with a little peace and quiet on the side.

The result has been busier than we expected. Couples on layovers, families on city breaks, business travellers from across Europe, and a steady run of road-trippers between Berlin and Vienna who use us as their natural overnight. Many come back.

We try to do a few things very well: providing a smooth stay, with self check-in and check-out, thorough cleaning between stays, caring about the comfort of our guests, providing a fast internet and free parking. The forest takes care of the rest.
